I’ve been to Coole Park many times, but I haven’t had many chances to test out the sundial in the walled garden. Though the entire week is predicted to be wet (and possibly stormy), yesterday was a sunny, warm day.
To use the sundial, you stand on the tile corresponding to the current month (see above), and your shadow will point to the current time (as pictured top). The sun faded about 10 minutes after I took these pictures!
